The GCDN Network

The GCDN network brings together over 150 of the most senior leaders in corporate communications or corporate affairs who meet under the Chatham House rule to discuss recent experiences, share lessons learnt, and brief each other on upcoming challenges. The groups each meet two to three times a year at a member company or organization headquarters. All members are also able to attend the annual Robert A. Peterson Roundtable in June, as well as at two annual lunches held in major European capitals. Membership of any of the groups is by invitation only and, is typically, on the recommendation of existing members

Global Communications Directors Forum

The Global Communications Directors Forum is a group of about 45 heads of corporate affairs, public relations and communications of major global companies. The group’s first meeting was held in Fontainebleau in 1977. The Forum meets twice a year, with at least one meeting including a joint session with members of the Business & Regional Communications Directors Roundtable (see below). Membership of the Forum also includes the possibility to attend the meetings of the sister group, the International Public Information Directors Roundtable (see below), as well as the meetings of the Sports Communications Directors Roundtable (see below).

Business & Regional Communications Directors Roundtable

The Business & Regional Communications Directors Roundtable is a group of about 30 of the most senior regional or business division corporate affairs / cor-porate communications heads from global companies.
The group was founded in Brussels in 1972 by 15 heads of public relations, public affairs, and communications of US companies in Europe.
It has met twice a year since that time, and now includes companies from countries outside of North America and members with a lead communications function for a global company.
It has two meetings a year with at least one of the meetings being with members of the Global Communications Directors Forum. Members are also entitled to attend any of the meetings of the International Public Information Directors Roundtable,
as well as the meetings of the Sports Communications Directors Roundtable.

International Public Information Directors Roundtable

The International Public Information Directors Roundtable comprises some 45 heads of public relations, public affairs and communications of major international organizations. As well as the group’s own meetings, members are able to attend the meetings of the Sports Communications Directors Roundtable.

Sports Communications Directors Roundtable

The Sports Communications Directors Roundtable is a group of heads of communications/marketing of major international sports federation, organizations and leagues.
The group’s first meeting was held at the Premier League in London in January 2015 and founding member organizations include the R&A,
the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the International Cricket Council (ICC), the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), World Rugby, United World Wrestling (UWW) and the European Club Association (ECA).
As well as the group’s own meetings, members are able to attend the meetings of the International Public Information Directors Roundtable.
